Beginning in January 2007, the Authority will provide stormwater management services and be responsible for NPDES compliance in the areas it serves within the City of Centennial and unincorporated Arapahoe County. The Authority will plan, fund, construct, acquire, operate, and maintain various drainage and flood control facilities. It will also comply with NPDES and other environmental regulations, and inform the public about stormwater quality.


Capital Construction and Remedial Drainage Projects

Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) will be prioritized to address needs across the area, and to achieve the greatest stormwater management benefit. Remedial drainage projects include major repairs of existing facilities. Other services include:

Routine Maintenance
Maintenance of the storm drain system will be regular and equitable across the system:

These are unfunded, federal environmental mandates. Failure to comply may result in fines to the Authority.
